1999 GUILD S7CE PEREGRINE STANDARD  ($1400 OBO)       (REVERB.COM LINK)

This Guild guitar is  very rare. After researching the serial numbers, I believe they were built at the Custom Shop in Nashville in April of 1999 . The Guild S7CE Peregrine Standard was made in two locations. The first run was from 1999-2003 at the Nashville Custom Shop. In 2003 the production was moved to Corona, CA. It has hambered bound mahogany body, mahogany top, mahogany neck with bound 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge w/strings thru body, "G" shield headstock w/custom shop logo, chrome hardware, Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural with volume & tone controls and custom pre-amp, 25 5/8" scale, 1 11/16" at nut. Color is black. I believe Grover gears were added. Guitar shows signs of wear.

The Gibson Chet Atkins SST is a solid body acoustic-electric designed by the musician Chet Atkins and manufactured and marketed by Gibson. The steel-string model was introduced in 1987 and was discontinued in 2006. The guitar has a solid spruce or cedar top and a mahogany body. Unlike most acoustic-electrics, the SST had no resonating chamber or sound hole. The acoustic sound came from a bridge mounted transducer manufactured by L.R. Baggs for Gibson with a proprietary active pre-amp. The SST has controls for volume as well as boost and cut for both treble and bass signals.
